Gaynor Yeung joined Whitelaw Twining in 1998, where she is now a Director. She practices general insurance defense litigation, with a focus on catastrophic personal injury cases and professional liability claims. Gaynor's clients include leading property and casualty insurers, international retail corporations, motor vehicle carriers, and leasing companies. She has resolved many complex matters in both informal negotiations and formal mediations. Gaynor is also an experienced litigator. Where an early, economic resolution has not been possible, Gaynor has protected her clients' interests before all levels of British Columbia courts, juries, and specialized administrative tribunals.
Gaynor heads the firm’s Retail Risks Group. She regularly provides her clients with topical seminars pertaining to developments in the law, risk and litigation management, and innovative risk solutions. Recently, Gaynor was a keynote speaker at the 35th Annual Risk and Insurance Management Society Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
